In just one Paris Fashion Week day a lot can happen. Not only have we merrily skipped from Nina Ricci to Dior and Sonia Rykiel (the skipping is partly down to enthusiasm but mostly down to keeping warm in this glacial French weather while baring an ankle). We've discovered the new bag Victoria Beckham's little angel-faced Harper has most recently influenced (its her second arm candy name check for your information) to uncovering some cool new labels at a trade show and, erm, making sure that the Parisian chocolat chaud is up to scratch...
We heart Paris
First up on today's agenda: Roland Mouret and Hussein Chalayan's shows are always on a Friday morning and always in the same venues, this means we know how and when's it's possible to take un petit pit stop. Whether it's a full fat chocolat chaude or simply the fact that we spotted the individual styling a of a JW Anderson frill and stripe clad Yu Masui (the Japanese fashion journo) the pick me up was complete.

Next we hit the London Showrooms. London you say? Yes. In the heart of Paris' Marais district you'll find a home away from home, where all of LFW's most promising young talent sets up camp for over a week. This is to attract buyers, international press and those from the home turf, because unfortunately, with a London schedule so very ram-jam packed you can actually miss some of these gems. We caught up with shirt masters Palmer// Harding who explained their collection was about internal conflict (something we've also struggled with on the pomme frites front).

Holly Fulton [above] enthused over a love affair with embellishment (and that it's what excites her, after concentrating on print for her eponymous line after time as Lanvin's embellishment guru). Meanwhile, newbie Claire Barrow told us just how long it really takes to hand paint her leather pieces.

We agreed with James Long on what a modern girls wardrobe should look like. 'I'm sick of seeing those printed dresses for photo opportunities,' he told us, 'This is a modern wardrobe, full of different luxurious but not try hard pieces.' We'd v much like to be wearing it right now.

Sister by Sibling chatted us through their striking made in Scotland knits and we watched Louise Gray camouflaged herself into her rails in a whirr of mind boggler prints and fascinating textures. We ate some ham and chunks of Parmesan, chatted some more and then allez! On to the next....

What could be more French than going to view an exclusive new jewellery launch at Cartier while overlooking the Arc de Triomphe? Nothing! We had a very glamorous moment and while we are sworn to secrecy on the details of the new collection which launches in a few months' time (we can say get excited, it's incredible) we can share the view and the luxurious mini Cartier telescope!
Cartier telescope, anyone?
Victoria Beckham may not be relocating to Paris for David's recent signing to Saint Germain, but we still scheduled in an appointment to see her many fashion lines up close and personal.

Grazia's Fashion Editor Catherine Nieto is a VB superfan, so she couldn't resist trying on this black pony skin hemmed coat from the mainline - it's the one she's been seen in recently.

We also learned of the 'Seven' tote - the latest bag that baby Harper has inspired. Cute!

To round off our day we stopped by a few fashion labels: our most-liked were Sea NY where the leopard prints, peplum'd knits and trophy jackets for AW13 are going to catch your eye, and Cobra Society, an American label with an a-list following for their kick ass boots and slippers made with native woven blanket fabric and leathers. Designer Alex Davis told us about branching into handbags (this suede green number was a highlight) and little poncho numbers. Watch this space, this girl has her feet firmly in the future.

C'est tout friends! Stay tuned for more Paris fun and fashion reports from Grazia Daily and here's a gratuitous shot of the ultra cute cat who sits in Cafe Ruc - she shared the limelight with two other beauties, Arizona Muse and Joan Smalls who were dining together!
