Instagram Pics Of The Day: Chloe Moretz At H&M, One Direction's Caption Competition And Cara Delevingne's New Trainers

Posted on 19:35 by Unknown

Last night Grazia joined the likes of Ashley Olsen, Pixie Geldof and Daisy Lowe in the French Capital for H&M's first catwalk show at Paris Fashion Week. We were super excited to rub shoulders with the likes of supermodel Cara Delevingne in the Skandi-themed setting of the high-street stalwart's high fashion presentation and it looks like A-list actress Chloë Moretz was too. The star of Kick-Ass posted a montage featuring Cara, Pixie and Daisy along with the caption 'Thanks H&M for a great night'. The actress has become somewhat of a front row regular - and a welcome one at that - having attended the Dior Couture in Paris last month and Milan Fashion Week last season.

One Direction have offered their fans a superb caption competition today. The photo in question is of boyband hunk Harry Styles being held aloft by two men who we can only assume from their muscular builds are part of 1D's security team. We haven't had any bright ideas so far but we're sure the Directioners will be working on it.

And finally, Poppy Delevingne has shared the weirdest photo Instagram Pics of the Day has ever seen featuring a box of kittens with Ryan Gosling's face superimposed on them. While we don't understand what it means we urge you to take a look - cats + Gosling = what's not to love?

Harper Beckham's Shoe Collection Worth 1500? See Her Most Adorable Footwear

Posted on 16:35 by Unknown

Harper Beckham may only be 19-months-old but that doesn't stop her from being the ultimate mini-fashionista and racking up a shoe collection worth a stonking £1,500. This toddler wears ribbed Chloe tights worth THIRTY POUNDS a pop so it's not a huge surprise that she rocks some flashy, expensive shoes.

The little poppet hasn't been walking long, so she has at least a good fifteen years left until she can copy her mama and reach for the 5 inch Louboutins. So how on earth is she spending SO much money on flat pumps? Well her collection includes lambskin Hermes shoes for £170, custom-made Nike trainers for £50, bow-detailed Burberry pumps for £110, Bonpoint sandals for £65 and Chloe sandals for £94. She does occassionally wear a high street pair too, such as the black Zara pumps worth £29.99 she wore to one of her mummy's fashion shows.

It's hardly a surprise that Harps has a wardrobe filled with shoes, as she has been a style-icon-in-the-making every since she came into the world. But what about the REST of her clothes? She sticks to Stella McCartney Kids, Terre de Sienna onesies, Marie Chantal dresses and lots and lots of Bonpoint. David has spoken about her super expensive wardrobe as he said to US Weekly, ‘[Harper] has so many little dresses! I didn't realise how excited I would get over buying hair bows’. N'aww.

Harper Beckham's Shoe Collection Worth £1500? See Her Most Adorable Footwear

Harper Seven's wardobe is likely to get even bigger on her papa's move to Paris, as a source told us that the uber chic French children's house Bonpoint are planning on welcoming her to Paree with lotsa gifts. A source in Paris exclusively told Grazia Daily: ‘It’s believed that Bonpoint will be sending their new collection to Victoria when she arrives in Paris to visit David. After the daughters of Obama and Brad and Angelina’s children, we can't wait to welcome our latest little customer, Harper, to our Paris shop.'

The source added: 'Since she was born, she has often made appearances wearing Liberty printed blouses which look grand on her. We are impatient to show her our latest Spring-Summer collection. She is one of our most ravishing ambassadors.’ Oh how we wish we could walk in her Stella McCartney shoes and be able to inherit THAT VB handbag collection.

Check out Harper's impressive shoe collection in the gallery above and be warned by the end you will have fallen head over heals for the little cutey...

Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams And Rachel Weisz Walk The Yellow Carpet At London's 'Oz: The Great and Powerful' Premiere

Posted on 13:35 by Unknown

Tonight, London's Leicester Square has been transformed into the magical world of Oz. Why? Because it's the premiere of 'Oz: The Great and Powerful'. Instead of the standard red carpet, the stars are walking up a yellow brick road (okay, it's a yellow carpet but you get the gist) and we're surrounded by ginormous foliage to really get us into the spirit. Grazia Daily is currently shivering in the cold to bring you the latest updates (follow our tweets @Grazia_Live) and we've already spotted the main stars of the show, Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz as well as the massively hot James Franco, who's looking suitably dapper in a suit and tie. Oh, how we swoon.

But what of the leading ladies? The trio look as elegant as ever all in strapless frocks. First up, we have Mila Kunis wearing a lace tulle tiered gown from Alexander McQueen's Spring Summer 2013 collection. How wonderfully whimsical! She's accessorised the look with emerald earrings by Dominic Jones and a matching emerald ring by Alexandra Mor.

Michelle Williams Burberry dress

Michelle Williams in Burberry

If Ms Williams has split from Jason Segel, she's working heartbreak rather well. The actress looks utterly radiant with her blonde crop swept to one-side, making the most of her blue and green peacock feather frock belted at the waist and worn with peep-toe heels. And guess what? Said frock comes courtesy of our very own Burberry! Yes, Michelle is wisely backing British this evening in the very same bustier dress we saw Cara Delevingne supporting on the Spring Summer 2013 catwalk in September.

As for our very own Rachel Weisz, she's kept her look super-sleek thanks to a nude gown draped at the waist and with a super-feminine sweetheart neckline, accessorised with little more than a glittering clutch and a deep pink lip.

Stay tuned as we bring you more excitement from the premiere and in the meantime, coo over the best dressers in the gallery above...

As Sarah Jessica Parker Steps Out In Socks And Sandals You Give Us YOUR Fashion Verdict

Posted on 07:35 by Unknown

Ordinarily wherever Sarah Jessica Parker goes, we follow - she is Carrie Bradshaw after all. But when the Sex & The City star stepped out in New York City this week to drop her kids off at school it wasn't a pair of Manolos, which caught our attention. SJP wore boyfriend jeans and a comfy cardigan with a combination traditionally considered a major fashion faux pas on anyone other than a 9-year-old girl - socks and sandals. While we've become accustomed to seeing the actress wrapped up in puffer jackets, snow boots and bobble hats as she braves the bitter Big Apple weather, surely teaming her Swedish Hasbeens with a pair of spotty socks is a step too far?

Well over on our Facebook page opinion was split 50/50. Fashion Landscape said, 'There are a few things that I hate more than socks with sandals, but I hate it enough', Stefanie Cazaux agreed, 'Socks and sandals are so a fashion no no!' and Samantha Shelton called it a 'horrible look', but added that Parker's 'sandals are cute'.

In the pro corner Julie Ann Symons was firmly in favour of the trend commenting, 'I for one salute her! If the sock and shoe combo is right it can look so cute and she does' while Jen Ben Higgins stuck up for SJP's sartorial choices saying, 'Maybe she's cold considering the rest of her outfit. She always looks good to me - fashionable or not'.

Katie Grace questioned our judgment of the mum-of-three's sartorial choices reminding us, 'She's with her kids. I'd be surprised if you all look perfect all the time, what she likes is her opinion as is yours. She might hate what you wear!' Fair point indeed, but it still doesn't stop this being one of the most divisive fashion trends.

Other stars who've experimented with socks and sandals include Alexa Chung, Chloë Sevigny and Florence Welch - all lorded as fashion heavyweights - so while SJP may have made the snap style decision as she headed out the front door with her children, it's clear the look can work if you put a little more thought into it.

Watch our guide to wearing heels hand socks here and let us know whether you would try the trend in the comments box below.

White Shoes Go Stellar: From Carine Roitfeld at NYFW To Kim Kardashian At The Oscars!

Posted on 04:35 by Unknown

All the most fabulous shoes spotted on the FROW at New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks, whether they were towering heels or elegant wedgettes, had one common denominator: they were all sparkling white!

The white shoe trend has been simmering since last spring/summer when sporty catwalk looks called for futuristic white wedges and minimal tailoring for parred-down pristine stilettos, and then when autumn/winter ’12 arrived white shoes stayed in fashion favour.

Now, as the spring/summer ’13 collections arrive in store, every fashionista worth her salt has bagged a pair of white shoes, and whilst some brave ladies are wearing theirs with bare feet and trousers, or even bare legs with skirts and dresses (in this weather, they must be crazy!!) other (frankly more sensible) gals have been sporting their white shoes with black opaque tights and pop-socks.

We’re crediting Carine Roitfeld with setting the trend for this monochrome look, she braved the snow at New York fashion week by teaming her metal toe-cap white stilettos with black tights and an uber chic trench coat.

Followed swiftly by a number of New York fashionistas working their white stilettos and platform sandals with jeans and tailored trouser looks- all with black socks!
Winter-weather friendly and chic? We’re sold!

The best news is: invest in a pair of white shoes now and they’ll take you from spring, to summer and beyond, and the styling options are endless!

For a head-turning monochromatic look try wearing white shoes with skinny tailored trousers and a printed sweater, or mix in a blue denim shirt. Great with black leather too, try your white shoes with second skin leather trousers or a pencil skirt.
And when the warmer weather finally arrives, white shoes are the perfect partner for spring/summer ’13’s colourful prints. Score!

Blogger Abimarvel Reveals Her Highlights From The Apartment

Posted on 01:35 by Unknown

We've already had a glimpse at blogger Abimarvel's visual diary from The Apartment at London Fashion Week, as well as behind the scenes videos of the stylish ladies making the most of the creative hub-come-pamper pad. Now Abimarvel exclusively reveals her highlights from the pop-up home which saw some of our favourite bloggers, including Ella from Coco's Tea Party and Reem and Natalya from Five Five Fabulous, come together to work on their blogs and style up a storm. Who wouldn't want to live in a house with Haagen-Dazs on tap, Justin Timberlake on a loop and beauticians on hand to sort out wayward brows? Find out what other treats the bloggers had in store...

1. The top track of fashion week was Justin Timberlake’s Suit & Tie which we had on repeat on our customised Sonos speakers!

2. rewardStyle were always on hand being super awesome and offering up their fashion knowledge.

3. Atelier-to-go brought out our creative sides, by holding a style session where we all dressed up a model in our favourite items from brands they stock.

4. Sunday night saw us getting ultra messy with Lavazza and Haagen-Dazs; there were milkshakes, odd concoctions and tasty goodness!

5. Blink Brow Bar had our brows all in check, which was awesome.

6. Our fashion cupboard was literally our saviour all week, with brands like Forever 21, SuperDry, Baume & Mercier and Dune providing the coolest of items for us to wear.

7. Food quite simply made the week. With Bear and Urban Fruit, Jelly Belly, Hotel Chocolat and snack packs from Leon Restaurant, we were all very happy bloggers.

8. Next's room was our ultimate hangout spot, we did not want to leave this room.

9. Claire's helped us out with those finishing touches.

Grazia Local: Blogger Lily Pebbles Tells Us About Her Favourite Places In North London

Posted on 22:35 by Unknown

In this week’s issue of Grazia you’ll find our latest Grazia Local feature – a fabulous eight pages of the best places to eat, shop, hang, party, drink and much more in North, South, East and West London. Phew! Many of the places in our top ten lists that have been recommended by you – our readers in the know – and you’ll find brilliant discounts and offers on them for a limited time only, so be sure to pick up a copy fast and get thee to London Town!

We’ve also recruited Grazia Local ambassadors – girls about town who know exactly where to pick up the best fashion buys or take your girlfriends to tea. Today's ambassador is Lily Pebbles of What I Heart Today on North London. She's let us in on the top spots to visit in her corner of London. Scroll down for her picks...

1. Atari Ya

Atariya.co.uk
If you’re a sushi lover like me and eat it like it’s going out of fashion then a visit to Atari Ya is a must! There are a few branches scattered around London and it’s perfect for a takeaway Sushi dinner. The sushi is some of the best I’ve tried and the prices are without a doubt the lowest I’ve paid! The Temple Fortune branch also has a Japanese supermarket and a sushi bar so I often stock up on Japanese goods there.

2. Vrisaki

73 Myddleton Rd, London, Greater London N22 8LZ
When you walk into the small kebab shop that looks like all the others there is no way you’d expect a huge, buzzing Greek restaurant through the back door. This Greek restaurant is the hidden gem of North London where you can get a feast for two for £38 and when I say feast, I mean feast! We somehow often work our way through around 5 courses of authentic Greek food and it’s always delicious.

3. Fabrizio

Fabriziolondon.co.uk
Down the bottom of Highgate hill, just before you reach Archway you’ll find a little Italian restaurant run by the friendliest Italian man in London, Fabrizio. It’s a family feel restaurant with some of the best Italian food imported over from Rome (by Fabrizio’s mother!) and a relaxed, comfortable environment. You’ll always get treated well at this place and it’s a refreshing to see so much passion and genuine love for Italian food from the staff.

4. Ginger & White

Gingerandwhite.com
Whether you’re stopping for a quick takeaway coffee, meeting a friend for breakfast or catching up on some much needed laptop and tea time, Ginger & White is the perfect café. The Belsize Park branch is my favourite and my tip would be to order the boiled egg and soldiers! Yum!

4. Drink, Shop & Do

Drinkshopdo.com
When I discovered this place a couple of years ago I was so excited and haven’t stopped telling people about it ever since! When you walk in it looks like a gift shop, then you walk to the back and it looks like a vintage café, but then you realise there’s even more to it than that. They offer the best afternoon tea including a ‘Man’s Afternoon Tea’ and a ‘Royal Afternoon Tea’, they also offer classes such as ‘1920s Headband making’ and ‘Vintage Pin-Up Hair and Makeup’ lessons… the list goes on! It’s a great place for a birthday, a hen do, a baby shower, but it’s also just perfect for afternoon tea and fun with your girlfriends.

Watch DSquared2's Model Army Dancing And Singing Backstage: EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

Posted on 19:35 by Unknown

Cara Delevingne stomping down the DSquared2 catwalk wearing a ginormous pink hat and double-breasted suit was one of our highlights of Milan Fashion Week - so we're thrilled to have a sneak peek of what the mega model and her chums got up to behind-the-scenes at the show.

And it seems LOVE Magazine style sing-a-long videos are the latest craze to emerge this fashion month. A few weeks ago we shared with you Cara Delevingne singing 'I want Candy' for Gang by Hogan and now we have an exclusive video of her dancing to as well as miming a '40s track for DSquared2. Not that we're complaining, of course, we can't get enough of watching our favourite catwalkers showcase their singing and dancing talents.

This latest video has all the elements of a fabulous fashion week film, from OTT lip syncing to mega models like Daphne Groeneveld, lotsa bling and oodles of champagne. Dan and Dean, the fabulous Caten twin designers and founders of DSquared2, naturally take a lead role in the video as we see the pair frolicking around with the models as they prep for their Autumn Winter 2013 show. Stressful? It certainly doesn't look like it!

DSquared2's Dames-Masculines show was one of our faves at MFW this season. We loved the classic 1940s silhouettes, glittering pins, bow ties and peek-a-boo undergarments. Of course, this isn't the first time our beloved Cara has starred in a quirky video for the brand - you'll remember she pulled her trademark funny faces in a '90s-tastic film for the Spring 2013 Resort collection.

So get a behind the scenes look at the DSquared2 show in the video below. It's a real corker...

We Chat To Cara Delevingne At H&M's First Paris Fashion Week Catwalk Show: EXCLUSIVE

Posted on 16:35 by Unknown

The brand that had Paris Fashion Week buzzing tonight? Nope, not Chanel or even Balenciaga. It was high-street hero H&M. The Swedish label showed for the first time ever in the French capital and Grazia was there to witness the extravanganza unfold...

We Talk To Cara Delevingne At H&M's First Ever Catwalk Show During Paris Fashion Week: EXCLUSIVE

H&M's catwalk debut was held at Musée Rodin where they transformed a multiple spaces into a myriad of rooms - everything from a kids playroom to a futuristic boudoir. The guests lined the rooms on sofas and chairs with Hollywood cuties Chloe Moretz and Emma Roberts as well as fashion pros Daisy Lowe and Pixie Lott lining the FROW. And, of course, there was Anna Dello Russo.

As for the catwalk action, you can check out the highlights in the gallery below, rewatch the show here and we'll be bringing you our report on the Autumn Winter 2013 collection tres soon. But for now, we can tell you that there was one addition to the runway that had us very excited: Ms Cara Delevingne. The Brit model was amongst the leggy likes of Joan Smalls and Daphne Groeneveld who formed H&M's model army. She paraded through the rooms looking hotter than ever in a sheer long-sleeved dress (which showed off her undies) teamed with knee-high black leather boots. Fox-tastic!

With all the concern about Cara's workload, we were expecting to meet a fairly dishevelled Ms Delevingne backstage after the show. Instead, as we extracted the hottest model in the world right now from dancing with her girl pals Daisy and Pixie, we were greeted by the glowing and slightly goofy Cara we all know and love. With her luminous skin and chiselled features contorted into those characteristic crazy faces, she talked to us exclusively about her post fashion week plans and her love of Grazia...

We Talk To Cara Delevingne At H&M's First Ever Catwalk Show During Paris Fashion Week: EXCLUSIVE

Grazia Daily: What are you doing after fashion week?
Cara Delevingne: I'm working straight away - first up American Vogue then a ton of other shoots so no rest at all. Nothing at all!

Grazia Daily: How are you keeping going?
Cara Delevingne: I don't know! I think by the end of the year I'm going to turn around and I'll look like I'm 45. All the soul will be sucked out of me! (laughs!)

Grazia Daily: Can we look forward to any news about you music career...?
Cara Delevingne: I've got a ton of stuff coming up in LA as soon as I'm done shooting. I'm meeting with some amazingly cool people so you'll be hearing more news soon.

Grazia Daily: Of course you'll keep Grazia up to date?
Cara Delevingne: Totally! Grazia is my favourite magazine. It's so amazing that I'm on the cover this week.

Plastic Fantastic! First Look At Karl Lagerfeld's Fun Footwear Collection With Melissa Shoes

Posted on 13:35 by Unknown

UPDATE: First Look At Karl Lagerfeld's Footwear Collection With Melissa Shoes! UPDATE: First Look At Karl Lagerfeld's Footwear Collection With Melissa Shoes!

UPDATE: Karl Lagerfeld's designs with Melissa shoes have just been unveiled and...drum roll please...they're just as fabulous as we'd expected! The designer’s original sketches show two exclusive styles that encapsulate his je ne sais quoi as well as another two existing styles.

Aside from being the first partnership with a Brazilian brand, it was also Mr Lagerfeld’s first experience in creating shoes entirely from plastic. 'I had never worked with plastic in this way before,' he says of the differences. 'It’s not the classic technique, I am used to working with more traditional techniques for Fendi, Chanel and Lagerfeld shoes. My inspiration was the native country of the brand, celebrating the Brazilian “joie de vivre”.

UPDATE: First Look At Karl Lagerfeld's Footwear Collection With Melissa Shoes! UPDATE: First Look At Karl Lagerfeld's Footwear Collection With Melissa Shoes!

When asked if this partnership reflects all of his experience in fashion, the designer said: 'I hope it will not reflect ‘decades of experience’ and have some freshness! I design footwear the same way I design clothes: with feeling. I express in my design, but what is not analyzed is what I design. I am not a marketing person.'

So what of the shoes? The Melissa Glam is a point flat ballerina shoe featuring three transparent spheres in sober and metallic tones. The Melissa Incense is truly fun with its glitter application on the back side of the heel, which is in the shape of a shinny ice cream cone. Genius! Meanwhile, the Melissa Ginga honours Brazil with a colour pallette inspired by the country native flag. Ooh, whichever one to choose?!

03 December 2012: Karl Lagerfeld's Latest Venture

Karl Lagerfeld is at it again. Not content with creating designer togs for Chanel and Fendi, news reaches us that the Kaiser of fashion has teamed up with Melissa to launch an exclusive footwear capsule collection. The global partnership will involve Monsieur Lagerfeld working on the design, development and distribution of the collection.

Although we haven't had a glimpse of the designs just yet, we do know there'll be at least FOUR seasons of Karl x Melissa shoes to look forward to. The first will be unveiled in March 2013, just in time for Autumn Winter 2013 and will include four styles of eco-friendly footwear created by the white ponytailed maestro. The ever-eccentric Karl plus the purveyors of plastic shoes? We're expecting rich colours, bold patterns and tres quirky jellies. What fun!

Karl Lagerfeld's Latest Venture? A Footwear Collection With Melissa!

Vivienne Westwood was in the pink for Melissa

Of course, this isn't Melissa's first designer collaboration. The Brazilian shoe brand has previously teamed up with designer types from Jean Paul Gaultier to Gareth Pugh and most memorably Vivienne Westwood. Anne Hathaway, Kate Moss and Katy Perry are already fans of the shoes, which are made of 100 per cent recyclable plastic, so can we expect Karl's crew to get involved now that the Chanel designer is onboard? We're talking to you, Vanessa Paradis and Diane Kruger.

'In one of the most exciting collaborations the company has seen, Karl Lagerfeld the most iconic designers of the 21st Century, has extended his fashion reign into our world of Melissa,' Paulo Pedó, Melissa CEO, declared this morning. 'Karl’s design talent synonymous with couture has been translated into footwear, bridging the gap between high-end and commercial, extending our customer base and making his name accessible for all.'

Karl's camp are pretty chuffed with the collab too. Says Pier Paolo Righi, Karl Lagerfeld CEO: 'We are very excited about the partnership with Melissa who have been great in translating Karl's inspirations and designs into truly ironic fun fashion products that many women in the world will happily wear.' Yes Pier, we will.

Blogger Mademoiselle Robot Shows Us How She Styles Her Stella McCartney Red Nose Day T-Shirt And Reveals Her Top Fashion Tips

Posted on 07:35 by Unknown

As if we weren't excited enough about Red Nose Day 2013, designer Stella McCartney went and upped the ante with a collection of fabulous charity tees. The comedy creations, which are modeled by the likes of Mossy herself, Alexa Chung and David Gandy in a campaign shot by supermodel and photographer Helena Christensen and Stella's sister and renowned snapper Mary McCartney, are guaranteed to fly off the shelves and now Mademoiselle Robot has been tasked to put her own spin them. We loved the results so much we had to chat to the French fashion blogger about how she puts together her daily outfits, her favourite designers and top blogging tips...

Grazia Daily: What are the key differences between London and Parisian style?

Laetitia Wajnapel: Parisian style is more timeless and conservative. Londoners tend to be more original and daring. Also I think because of a really strong high street in the UK, people in the street are generally more in tune with trends, even if it is only accidental.

Grazia Daily: What's been your fashion month highlight this season so far?

Laetitia Wajnapel: My highlight has been to actually not attend Fashion Week at all (aside from the Scandi ones). I've been taking a breather.

Grazia Daily: When you're choosing an outfit to wear what do you start with?

Laetitia Wajnapel: At the moment, all my outfits seem to revolve around a good white shirt, so I use this as a starting point and then depending what I am doing, I build around it. On a day to day basis it will be white shirt/jeans/oversized knit/ankle boots, then for the evening white shirt/statement trousers/heels/a clutch of some description. I realise this probably sounds very boring.

Grazia Daily: If you were going to design a Red Nose Day tee who would you feature on the front?

Laetitia Wajnapel: I would feature David Bowie, who I have been in awe of since I was a very little girl. Perhaps using the Heroes cover or something like that. Right now I wear my Beatles RND tee quite a lot and also the Monroe one.

Grazia Daily: You have a Mini Robot section on your site – what do you think of the trend for parents dressing the same as their children?

Laetitia Wajnapel: I don't like it! I think children should be allowed to be children for as long as they can, which means unless you start dressing like a child, I don't think we should be dressing the same.

Grazia Daily: How important is social media to your blog and which social platforms do you use?

Laetitia Wajnapel: I use twitter and instagram a lot but not to promote the blog, they are there mostly as another channel to share silly stuff with friends and people who want to hear the silly stuff I have to say. I've recently started using urturn as well which is proving to be really fun. It is a bit like pinterest with added features. Of course I use Facebook as well and this is more of a relay for the blog.

Grazia Daily: Which designers epitomise your style?

Laetitia Wajnapel: I love Luella and each day I hope for her return to the fashion scene. Other favourites would be Stella McCartney, Carven, Marni (for shoes), Acne and Whyred.

Grazia Daily: Which high street stores do you rate?

Laetitia Wajnapel: I love Whistles and COS. Online, I often turn to ASOS - some would say TOO often.

Grazia Daily: Which other fashion blogs do you read and why?

Laetitia Wajnapel: I mostly read my friends' blogs: Park & Cube, Style Slicker, Fashion Foie Gras, July Stars (although her blog is now more of a portfolio type site) and Lola Is Beauty.

Grazia Daily: What beauty products can't you live without?

Laetitia Wajnapel: 8 Hour cream, a good red lipstick (really into Bourjois' Rouge Podium at the moment) and YSL Touche Eclat.

Grazia Daily: What's in your makeup bag?

Laetitia Wajnapel: All of the above, plus some mascara and Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation.

Who Encouraged Alexander Wang To Take The Balenciaga Job? Anna Wintour (Obvs)

Posted on 04:35 by Unknown

We weren’t expecting any comment from Mr Alexander Wang regarding his first collection at Balenciaga until après le show tomorrow, but trusty Suzy Menkes of the International Herald Tribune managed to wheedle some choice quotes out of the 29 year old designer after he showed his eponymous line in New York two weeks ago. "I'm extremely excited. I am high on life. It's a dream come true…” He told her, “My first reaction was: 'I am so occupied, I give 110 per cent to my brand.' Then I thought of elevating my team and being given a chance to do all those things I had at the back of my mind. I am doing something quite different from what I do here."

According to Menkes, Wang, who first rose to fashion fame for his model-off-duty sportswear style and his since built a seriously big business, was persuaded into the idea (like it’d take MUCH persuasion to go and work for the most incredible, forward-thinking Parisian fashion house?!) by the industry’s chief puppeteer, Anna Wintour. But of course! Editrix Wintour apparently made it very clear that Alexander would regret turning down such an opportunity for ‘eternity’. Yes, eternity. So the raven haired chap put his nerves to one side and picked up the precious baton from Nicholas Ghesquière.

Alexander Wang's Autumn Winter 2013 runway in New York

So what can we perhaps expect of the Paris schedule’s most highly anticipated show? Well, the American boy promises something very different for his inaugural Balenciaga collection. Starting with the location, the salons on Avenue George V, “[And] in Paris it is going to be very different — it is in the storage space,” explained Mr Wang to Menkes. But what of the clothes? Ghesquière’s ground-breaking 15 year tenure at the Parisian fashion house did nod to an urban twang, but could Paris be taken totally Downtown and into a significantly more casual realm? Or does the amount of tailoring in Wang’s latest Autumn Winter 2013 offering signify a smart new shift into grown-up gear? All will be revealed tomorrow, when of course, we’ll share the results with you…

Watch Jennifer Lawrence Explain Why She Loves Miss Dior

Posted on 02:22 by Unknown

Amidst the excitement of Jennifer Lawrence's Oscar win on Sunday we'd almost forgotten that the actress is currently playing a starring role in the latest campaign for Miss Dior. The images were released last week and now there is a video where you can get a behind the scenes glimpse at the shoot which was masterminded by Dior women’s wear creative director Raf Simons, photographer Willy Vanderperre and stylist Olivier Rizzo. Wearing a tuxedo and a delicate French veil, Lawrence embodies power and femininity all at once and combined with the simplicity of the concept it's little wonder that our Fashion Director Susannah Frankel has described it as 'the most quietly beautiful campaign of the new season'.

While the stunning Dior Couture dress which Lawrence wore to the Academy Awards could be attributed to her fall as she stepped up to collect her Oscar, we can think of no better representative of strong young women for the Miss Dior brand to collaborate with than the Hunger Games star. And J-Law is clearly enamoured with the French label too. Known for her straight talking and honest interview style she explained ‘Dior represents beauty and strength in women. That’s how I feel when I’m wearing [his] clothes. They just make you feel so confident. I've always been a huge fan of Dior. Being part of something with such an incredible history is phenomenal'.

There are many reasons why we love Jennifer Lawrence (16 at the last count), but the way she has held herself in the last week, from laughing off mishaps to humbly accepting the praise of her peers, not to mention the fact that she's just bagged an Oscar, has ensured that her rising star is set to soar in the coming year.

Loved J-Law's Oscar dress? Check out her red carpet style hits in the gallery below...

Nicholas Kirkwood Teams Up With Disney To Design 'Oz The Great and Powerful' Shoes: EXCLUSIVE SKETCHES

Posted on 01:35 by Unknown

Back in London Fashion Week before a busy day of Topshop Unique and Viv Westwood, Grazia Daily had breakfast with Disney at Somerset House. But this wasn't a Disneyland stylee character breaky with Goofy and pals - this was strictly about fashion.

As we ate iced green cupcakes and sipped on emerald cocktails to see shoe wizard Nicholas Kirkwood's Oz inspired designs, and now we can exclusively share with you his sketches. This marks Kirkwood's first move into the world of film, as each design was inspired directly from Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz' characters in Oz The Great and Powerful. As you would expect from a Disney inspired shoe they are all magical - from an elaborate, witchy stiletto to a pink princess slipper.

You may remember that Mr Kirkwood launched his first men's collection back in January at London's Men's Collections with six designs, and so he also designed a zigzag brogue for James Franco's character Oz. He said of the design: 'The materials are inspired by the character as they are for all of them. It is embroidered silver on top of a suede mixed with alligator - Oz being great and powerful and alligator being the greatest and most powerful I thought it was a nice combination.'

Nicholas Kirkwood's four-piece collection will be available to buy in early March alongside the release of the film on March 8 from Selfridges. The department store is set to go Oz crazy as you will be able to follow ACTUAL yellow bricks from the film set around the store, which will lead you to original costumes and props and then of course to Nicholas's limited edition collection.

Find out what Nicholas Kirkwood has to say about his Oz shoes in the video below and by looking through the gallery above...

Jenna Lyons Poses With Her Girlfriend Courtney Crangi For The First Time Ever For V Magazine

Posted on 22:35 by Unknown

Recently dubbed “the woman who dresses America” by the New York Times, JCrew president and creative director Jenna Lyons’ private life became tabloid fodder last year as she split from Vincent Mazeau, her husband of nine years, to take up with jewellery executive Courtney Crangi. While Lyons has remained characteristically low-key when it comes to talking about her new partner, the ultra-attractive twosome have been lensed for the new issue of V magazine making their debut glossy outing as a couple.

Jenna Lyons & Courtney Crangi For V Magazine

With an issue dedicated to dynamic duos, V magazine says seeing the two women interact is 'akin to watching two teenagers in love... giddy with knowing smiles and stolen kisses.' Revealing the essence of her connection with Crangi, Lyons says, “For me the best thing knows that someone really has your back. Like no matter what happens she has my best interests at heart. I think there are a few moments in life where that actually happens, and that feels, like, completely true and real.”

Crangi – who heads up the business side of her brother Phillip’s hip jewellery line - is equally besotted with her new girlfriend telling V, “I think the most amazing about Jenna, although there are many amazing things about her, is really her grace under pressure,” she says. “She’s just incredibly gracious at all times.” Bless!

We love a gorgeous fashion pairing, especially one so clearly in love as these two stylish mavens. Click through the gallery below to see exactly why Ms Lyons’ style is so feted by the fash-pack.

Front Row At Milan Fashion Week: Anna Dello Russo, Olivia Palermo & More

Posted on 19:35 by Unknown

Can you believe we're more than half way through fashion month? We've now crossed New York, London AND Milan off our fashion calendars. While we wait for Paris to start tomorrow, it's the perfect time to review who sat on the front row at Milano.

At New York Jessica Chastain, Miley Cyrus, Matt Damon and David Beckham were some of the best FROW-ers. While London also attracted a starry front row as Kate Bosworth, Rosie Huntington Whiteley and One Direction's Louis Tomlinson were spotted at the shows, alongside LFW regulars Olivia Palermo, Alexa Chung, Daisy Lowe and Pixie Geldof.

Milan is Anna Dello Russo territory, so we've seen plenty of crazy ADR outfits this week. Anna Dello Russo is one fashionista who knows how to take a killer #whati'mwearing shot and she's let us join her on the front row at Milan fashion week via her Instagram feed.

At Gucci on Day One the fashion pack were out in force as Carine Roitfeld, Anna Dello Russo and Anna Wintour went to see Frida Giannini's latest collection for Gucci. Salma Hayek was the first A Lister to hit Milan as she was FROW-ing at Gucci in a purple leather belted suit.

Hailee Steinfeld was announced as MaxMara's face of the future during Milan, following in the footsteps of Katie Holmes, Zoe Saldana and Chloe Moretz. She was the guest of honour on the FROW at MaxMara on the morning of Day Two. Lana Del Ray tried a gothic look as she experimented with some extremely dark lippie at Versace where she sat next to Janet Jackson.

Front row royalty Olivia Palermo, Miroslava and Mary Charteris made the trip over to Milan, while actual royalty (in the form of Princess Charlene of Monaco) sat front row at Giorgio Armani.

See all the stars who FROW-ed at Milan Fashion Week this season in the gallery above...

peony lim hyde park duck pond

1. Hyde Park Duck Pond

We are so lucky in London to have to many huge and green parks. I particularly like to go through the gate into Hyde Park at the top of Gloucester Road and then get a delicious brownie from the coffee stand before walking up with Thumbelina to see the ducks!

ottolenghi meal

2. Ottolenghi Belgravia

Its one of the yummiest places to eat in London, great for take-away and eat it, I love to go in the summer and sit outside. Fresh flavoursome food with a naughty pudding. What more could you want?! Plus the stores are a feast for the eyes.

covent garden flower market

3. New Covent Garden Flower Market

I have been going since I can remember with my mother, its the wholesale flower market that supplies most florists in london. You can get everything from tissue and ribbon to full-grown trees and glitter! I love to go and buy flowers for the week and then have bubble and squeak with bacon and eggs at the cafe behind.

pierre herme macaroons

4. Pierre Herme

Although I love Macaroons in general, no-one does interesting flavours or the lightness of touch like Pierre Herme. He is also stocked in Selfridges, but the store itself is a treat, with cake and chocolates too!

PLUS Want To Know What To Wear In West London?

I often have to walk around a lot so in the winter heels are not always practical, I love these acne boots for style and comfort, and a gilet and biker never goes amiss. Boyfriend jeans are one of my favourite cuts and these are a great take on them.
