This season Dior collaborated with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. Raf Simons' collection was surrealist and art inspired with early Andy Warhol drawings embroidered onto the pieces and houndstooth reworked into flowers. Dior commented 'Raf Simons' and Mr. Dior started their careers in Art, this passion is connected to the collection today.' The collection also saw re-worked versions of original Dior creations including a red wool coat from 1948, a tulle dress from 1949 and a bustier dress from 1949.
